Dubai Creek is an alternative to the congested streets and traditional New Year’s parties. As night falls – the dhow is transformed into a festive celebration – with decorations, music, food and glimpses of Old Dubai, as you step on board.
There is an international buffet of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options on the cruise. Other amenities include – a wine bottle, a fruit champagne bottle, a bottle of soft drinks, a bottle of water, ice and a complimentary cake-cutting party at the end of the year. Live entertainment is conducted throughout the evening – to keep things fun.
If you have opted for the upper deck, then as the night draws near – steer towards the open location and enjoy watching fireworks light up the Dubai skyline. The celebration provides you with the chance to see a great show around – Al Seef, Dubai Festival City, and Burj Khalifa as well.

The cruise runs on 31st December. Boarding is between 9:00 PM and 9:45 PM – and cruising starts from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Al Seef, Bur Dubai, opposite Kailash Parbat, Gate No. E is the boarding point. Optional pick up / drop off services are available between 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM. All returns and drop-offs are conducted between 2:00 AM to 3:00 AM – depending on traffic and location.
Customers who prefer to take their own transport can book public transport to Al Seef – such as a Metro, bus, taxi or private transfer. Bring an Emirates ID or passport for identification.
In the event that a customer seeks to cancel a New Year booking due to a health-related circumstance – the Company requires the submission of valid medical documentation substantiating the condition. Refund requests arising from health issues will be reviewed and processed – only upon receipt and verification of such documentation. The Company reserves the right to decline refund requests – that are not supported by appropriate proof or that do not meet the criteria outlined in this policy.
The cruise boards are opposite the Kailash Parbat on the other side of the street in Al Seef, Bur Dubai.
The actual cruise is around 3 hours long (10:00 PM to 1:00 AM).
